Server Lag

Lately everything has been real slow, im sure this has been brought up, but was wondering if it was just me, or everyone. Its litteraly taking me hours to complete my moves, which isnt all that great during the week. Server upgrade possible?

Or clean up/fix something haha

I agree, it has been taking me over two hours to play my moves each day.

its like two seconds wait after every click. it can only get better and im sure it will now that admin has been told by many of us

It depends when you're on. I was flying through my moves this morning, but its been slow tonight.

I live in New Zealand, and I played from 1pm to 6pm, its currently 6:09pm here, just 9 mins after reset.

I lost 285 moves because of how I play, and the refresh rate.

I guess I have to allow 6-8 hours to play my moves now as its so slow.

I hope this improves.

300 x $3.50US = $10.50US = $15.44NZ this game is now costing me money.

The RAM upgrade will be completed in the morning. We'll see how performance is. We may have to add a 2nd server so we'll take care of it asap.

I'm hoping that the RAM upgrade makes a little difference on the server load but I've given up PTW the past two days until it's fixed or a new server is added. I can't go back to 1997-ish 28.8 speeds again, I just can't. (This is for a good majority of the day on speed, averaging 6-15sec. / click)

Lets just hope it's fixed

As of right now, server looks a lot better. We'll give full thoughts when i get home today

Jan tweaked the server settings and worked on the game database a bit. So direct your thanks to Jan.

Also, the memory upgrade has not been added yet, so when that is complete, that will help even more.

as of now it cant get better lol. you can hit four ships in two seconds and be gone before they even know what hit them lol
