PM me if you feel like you've lost an inordinate amount of gold.

I don't think there will be many who don't gain from the reset, but for the few who lost a lot of gold I can dig into the attack logs and try to verify how much you had earlier today.

I disagree Capt, all players were affected equally in their gold, meaning they were rolled back to the 1st. If you give gold to 1 you have to give gold to all.

either way works for me,but i agree
something like this that was out of capts and bcps hands is part of the game
i agree just for the work involved to leave the gold as is
else you will have to dig through everyones attack logs to replace the gold
that would take a very long time
if theres free gold coming back to me id be happy but if i dont get anything back id be just as happy
im just glad the game is up and running again

had I known we would've been able to keep the upgrade we got, I would've bought the cheaper upgrade, haha

but yeah, not sure about the giving out the gold back...I'm with the others in losing over 100k, but hey, it happens

I sure didn't gain from the reset! I haven't gotten an upgrade since around June, and now I've lost about 40K in gold and more than a couple SD in resets and moves. I'm sorry the database went down, but I hardly think it's fair to just roll it back and say OK, now go on your merry way.

i lost over 359k

i had 373k before the crash and 14k after

and you say thats fair bcp?

it takes me 2 weeks to do my upgrades, i dont mind losing part of my gold like everyone else but i should at least get my cheapest upgrade which is less than the 373k in gold I lost.

I've been helping out a lot of newbies lately keeping them from quitting the game by helping them with strategies and pointers. I wouldn't of bothered doing anything knowing I would get shafted like this.

Yea, seacaptain is going to make it all better. Right, I lost 75K, which is not much to alot of you but I worked hard in getting it. This is what I was told from seacaptain.

The crash has affected everyone and unfortunately while we have records of the attacks that were made, we do not have a record of all the islands and towns hit, so we cannot verify in full the amounts of gold held by everyone. While a lot of people will disagree, the only thing we can do is reset back to a clean copy of the database.

Now I did get some of it off of islands but I was trying hard to get my next upgrade. I even bought a reset because I had fame and didn't want to loose what I had. Anyway, as ratpatrol can verify, ratpatrol Success 5649 Lost Sep 07 07:28:25 . That was before the crash. Also before the crash..Nimizts Success 634 Lost Sep 07 04:37:32 . When I logged on this morning I had a little over 5K. And from what I read from Seacaptain, there is no chance of me getting any of it back. I wonder how fair it is that some get it back and others don't.

yahh I lost 41245...It's probably not much to alot of you out there but it's a losing battle with all the heavy hitters slapping me around too...I was getting close to my cheapest upgrade but now I've been set back at least 2 days plunder....no wonder we of the lower scale go for the greenies...I am amazed I didnt get my butt kicked today...but then there is tomorrow and I'll probably get set back a few more days again :(

Don't everyone gang up on bcp19--he's not a fearthefox or anything!

The alternative that was about to happen yesterday was to reset everyone's gold to 0 !!

I'm awake now. :D

Geez Louise people!

The good Captain puts forth a monter effort to get the game back, and there's this much belly aching about the lost gold?

Thank god, the Cap'n is as good as he is, in getting things up and running that quick and even with the upgrades all still intact. What if we all had to start over with a full reset?

Im glad its all back, and I'm glad the Captain got us this far.
