Pirate The World - Online Adventure Game

Okay, I have a stupid question. I hit a town today (10N-72E) and was chased out by an angry mob. I looked at my fame, 'cause it was my 2nd move of the day and it gave me 3 fame. Is that right? I have noticed on some of the green dots that I get 3 fame also. Is this right or is this a bug? Really would like to know. There have been times I thought I had gathered up a lot of fame awful fast when i wasn't even trying to get much. Is there any way to check this? Thanks.

its 3 fame for a failed attack on a town or pirate and 1 fame if you are successful
