Pirate The World - Online Adventure Game

Ok, I see this as a huge potential handicap for those on this board. Any player that want's to know when to come looking for us only has to check the Pirate Rank board and look for an increase in the piracy level, as this updates in real time by clicking refresh, we are BUSTED! Players who play for 9 hours straight will use this feature to their advantage! This will only help the strong to grow stronger . Can't the piracy level be updated only at the am reset?

It works in everyones favor. Just because you top the ranks doens't mean you have gold, doesn't mean you have high fame, and just means you have a lot of points. If they're an active player they will be on there as well. No one hides from it. Anyone has the opportunity to use it how they see fit. There's also the fact that they have to find you. As I said just because you have a high piracy and it's growing doensn't mean they'll hit you and take your gold.

Can you guys please explain the leaderboards and not leave us in the dark and make us try to "figure it out"?

You gain piracy by doing things such as attacking towns and pirates. The more piracy you rack up the higher on the leaderboard you go. New players will be on the new leaderboard for 30 days and after that they won't get any more points on that leaderboard and will be moved to the overall leaderboard. At the end of the month we will know who was in the top 3 spots for both boards. The piracy will then reset to 0 and you will start over with the next month.

We are going to be adding more things that affect piracy in the near future. And we probably wont tell you exactly what they are. Some things need to remain a secret.

I understand that you like making us figure everything out and keeping us in the dark....

but I hope you realise that the people who usually figure it out first are the big puppys.

This just advances them EVEN MORE...like they need that extra prize added to their cashout cash..

What is the fun in the game if we tell you exactly how to play?

Admins: What happens if someone is on top of both boards? Will they get two prizes, or will they only be able to get one per month and the prizes will go to the next top people, and so on?

I would say one prize per member. We would then go to the next member in line. I will discuss this further with shelvock to make sure we have a good game plan.
