Grid on the Radar??

I think it would be nice to have a grid on the radar. It then expands when you upgrade. It's really annoying when you see a P and you don't know which exact square he's in so you miss.

all you have to do is click on the "p" and it will jump you straight there and attack. There is no need to click your way there. It would make grid lines sort of useless then.

click on the "p", if u miss, it has nothing to do with the square he is in. There is no reason for a grid

I know you don't have to move there to attack. The problem is, I'll move the mouse directly over the P but the center of the P is not in the center of the square. Make sense? If there was a grid then people could tell exactly the spot to click.

I think there should be a grid. I like to run up on sleeping ships, and loot towns and islands on my way. Then I don't waste any moves.

just click a little above the p, its pretty easy to get right once u get the hang of it

We tried it with the grid, but it came out all distorted. Until we find a way to make a grid we have to keep it like it is.

can you use javascript to make an image map, and each 50x50 pixels is one square on the grid (or whatever the measurement will be). and you can set it to simply change the pixel colors when you see enemies. maybe this can be done with tables if that makes it easier. i dont know much about web programming.
