I thought when the ship sinking feature first came out, it was great.
You could run around and hit everything in sight, and sunk a lot of ships along the way...

Now, the seas are empty, and you rarely find a ship...

What if you turned off the ship sinking feature for, say, two months, and let more ships pile up again so there can be another time in which we could all go crazy again...

Just a thought..I really liked that time, haha

Wasn't it supposed to make cashout go down as well? ;-)

i dont think the gold from sunken ships has been deducted from the cashout total. i think inactive ships should have their gold zeroed out. 98% of the time the have 200 or less so it shouldnt be a problem when they become active again that they start at zero gold, keeping their stats is the most important thing imho.

this would probably reduce cashout by 10k minimum probably more which would help more people cashout

maybe this inactive gold could be given out on islands as prizes ?

I agree with popcan that it should be zeroed out but stats remain. If nothing else after they've been sunk a certain amount of time if they haven't logged back in. Some of those players will never come back and over time it would just keep making cashout higher.

Perhaps the 99th person to hit a ship that is inactive for 8 days could win all the remaining gold from that ship. Then the 100th person would sink it and get the 5000 gold.

The downside to this idea is that the people who play in fleets can tip off their mates to ships about to sink. This would further widen the gap between the fleet players and the solo players.

I would like to see the gold stay in the boat for someone who might return but to be taken out of the cashout total equation...if it still being counted.
