Thought it might be nice to have a graphics package that could be used in place of pulling them from your server. It would save on bandwidth and possibly speed up throughput.

Well browsers are supposed to cache the graphics on your computer, but if these are not getting cached, this would be a great idea. :-)

Yeah, I'm mapping all the location reefs lagoons and oceans but turn off the graphics and you wouldn't be able to tell which is which.

Ty, There is no image to cache because its being pulled up through a php file and the link changes every time I've got 4000 of them in my history to boot, lol. oh well I guess thats not going to happen.

Why differentiate between those when they provide you with no options... I use blue for the sea and rather than pick up another marker, I just mark them all blue... Saves time...

Just a thought...

I will look into the 4000 images cached problem. There must be a way of having it work. :-)

I use letters for them doesn't make much difference really, its a press of a key in a spreadsheet to me.

Thought maybe one day when I got a bigger ship say 8-11 it would be wise to have good navigation stat and tried to avoid hull tearing Reefs that take 1% of your gold from you.. Could be a hazard worse than the storms which take 10 moves from you.

And, then one day you might have an option to hide from someone for a set time (5min., for a price of course, 1000 gold) in the Lagoons if your being chased.

SeaCaptainN: Its 4000 history entries not cached images. I'm not sure how windows stores them but they are just shortcuts to the same webpage.
