i keep forgetting to click 'scan' on the live radar... you should make it automatically be ON and then you can turn it off if you want

although i really cant see any reason for people turning it off... so i guess my suggestion defeats the whole purpose of causing less lag from the scanner in the first place??

i have it off all the time.. whenever i farm, there is no reason for it to be on.. and that is the majority lol

Right... As you move around it's sort of live anyhow isn't it? I mean as long as the screen reloads or refreshes is the way I understand it... The only time you would want in on is when you are DIW.

Yes, the reason for the switch was to hopefully save the server processing time.

Every time you do something that refreshes the page, like searching, changing ships, moving, etc, the radar displays the most up-to-date info.

If you want to sit and watch, or if you click slow and like having the radar show movers, or for whatever other reason you have, you can turn it on, but I do not want it turned on by default as that would mean that lots of people who don't care would be sending more requests to the server than is needed.

3J i have also forgotten to turn on the radar a few times, over time it will become automatic to turn it on when you log in.

as far as the lag goes, mine is completly gone since capt did these script upgrades, when i do extended fishing trips i just reboot my computer every couple hours.

did you guys know that you can turn your attack logs on as well??
