Pirate The World - Online Adventure Game

How about for 1 day or maybe less not long before cashout all our current upgrade levels were saved and our upgrades made so everyone is even until after cashout??. I'm sure having a go at getting half the gold a top player has would be something a middle level and/or new player could look foward to. The gold gained after all wouldn't need to be used for cashout so could help a player get 3 or more upgrades just from 1 lucky hit. I'm good at keeping low fame so welcome the challange.
Even though it would be for a short time I think it would have a huge but good impact on the game. If a first day player got $20 from playing less than a day then they would not only keep playing but would pull in many friends and family.
Since the upgrades being made even wouldn't be stuck like that players would play for the rest of the month also to get more gold ready for the big day and keep upgrading so they can attack more ships to get that gold for when the upgrades did count.
I admit I haven't given this idea much thought but really I can only see good things from it.
1) More active players.
2) More players cashing out.
3) PLayers near the top still having to worry about being past.
4) No one loses their long term effort.
5) Probably more but as I said this is an idea which I pulled from the hat and I only just got up.

P.s:
Upgrading at towns during the free for all would be disabled during that time.
