Is there some sort of limit to the off color of some players names? I have seen some that in my opinion are over the top.

I have some rudimentary filters for when you sign up, but it's hard to catch everything without eliminating other words that should be there...

For example, and pardon me if anyone is offended, if I were to filter out 'ass' we could stop someone from registering the name 'AssMaster'. However, we would also filter out 'CutlassKing', which is a perfectly pirate-y name.

Really, it's a hard line to draw. However, if you come across anyone that you find objectionable let us know (PM or email) and we can remove them or ask them to change their name (which, I might add, isn't easy but if a name is really, really bad we can do it.)

haha, yes, ClaudeP had to change his name to what it is now.

Luckily he had just signed up so it wasn't as big of a deal to change it.

Sorry to go off the topic a bit, but about the names being changed:
Do the players in the database not have index keys??. Like for example if a player named 'A' was the first player to join the game then their key would be '1'. Then everywhere the player is (E.g Attack logs.) shows the name based on the name with the index '1'. Is it not stored in that way or is there another reason why names are hard to change??.

Ahh... Proper database design. If only it were that easy.

Sadly, I didn't design the database, so therefore it's not.
