Post subject:  Some suggestions...
Not to sound like loser but here is some ideas i thought of to make this game more fun and interesting, i'm only 14 so dont expect a lot. These can be your capt or popcan if u but ptw.
1. Pirate ranks (as in captain, private or whatever) You should rise up from a begginer deckhand to become a captain you cant just start and be a captain. there could be a reward system which rewards you for how high you are in the class table. aka free upgrade, free gold,
2. You shouldn't just have gold as the only currency. You should have silver, jewels, food, spices. You could sell these for gold.
3. We need more equipment that you can steal. aka sextants. This would improve your radar or sights in the game.
4. A little quiz should be played each week. If you win or get all q's right you get a reward(gold or uprade)
5. Maybe different types of cannons. For example a cannon that can shoot with power but not a lot of distance. or the other way round.
6. Maybe we could buy land where you could hide your gold or cargo.
7. The ability to hire a crew at the local town.
8. ability to fish for food. after all your crew will need to eat and drink.

These are just a few that it thought of and i do agree with popcan this game could be something big. Hope you like them.

Your ideas are actually pretty good. Some of them (#5,#7,#8) are very close to things we have planned. Other ones might not be too feasible, but I like the way you're thinking.
