What do you think of this accuracy mumbo jumbo?
It sounds like a great addition to the game! 14%  14%  [ 3 ]

Okay this may very well be the wost suggestion ever suggested, but hey, it's just a suggestion. (<--hehe say that five times fast)

Alright I was just thinking that, like how there is observation and hull, and attack and defense, that there could be something like Accuracy and Inacurracy.

Accuracy would be like when you go and attack someone, if your accuracy is higher then their dodgeness (lol or whatever you wanna call it) than you would go throught to the next step of attack and defense. If they could steer out of the way (their dodgingness was higher then your accuracy) then you would just miss, and no fame would be added.

Lol just a thought for another stat. I'd like feedback.

As we are expanding the scope of the game there will be new traits and other additions. It's going to take awhile before we get the game to where we want it, but in due time.

not even close...

what he is sayin... is that if you can "dodge" a ships cannonball... then you dont get hit... however the attacker doesnt gain fame

Think about it this way.....with your onservation you could see him coming and his shot from his cannon....

So with your Navigation you would be able to move out of the way....

Does that not make sense......LOL

That's only cause *YOU* have the highest observation in the game lol

I was the only choob who voted yes and I like the idea. The whole reason I like PTW is because it's like a really simple RPG with real money attached to it. The more traits to keep track of and upgrade the better. :D

i think it would be an okay addition - would need some tweaks though, so it doesn't interfer with the current attack/defense system

Since everyone complains about observation being so weak, I was thinking it alone could affect accuracy. Every ship could start with 70% accuracy and each observation level would raise it 2%, capping it at 100% in case someone surpasses that level. As a result, observation serves 2 functions much like navigation. You could then have the missed shots count as an attack, not count as an attack to where the attacker has to try to catch you again, or (my least favorite) affect the amount of gold you get.
