I believe that was the longest running treasure hunt in PTW history! :-D Other ones won't be nearly as hard as that one turned out to be.

Thank you all for playing and congratulations to all the winners.

Now, I get to reward the creativity (or lack thereof) prizes!

First, I found this entry by KingDragun particularly funny:

Quote:
hey seacaptainn..you can seee this right? - quick - send me the answer to the first one....this is going to be the longest submition yet look at this baby man, its like a paragraph long,, this must not be good for the server...my badl...sorry...ill stop..

Second, I was really impressed that tiger was able to discover the hidden message on level 3 so fast, yet even more impressed that he sat on it for almost an hour and didn't know it. Also, I though that this entry was really creative:

Quote:
...dne eht ot dna gninnigeb eht oT

The two of you will get an additional 100 moves each for your efforts on March 1st!

Any chance of taking into account the UK players (not sure how many of us there are) when doing things like this.

To take part in this Treasure Hunt I would have had to play between 1am and 6am our time on Monday morning!

I'm so sorry stacko! It's very difficult to find a time where we can satisfy everyone!

However, in the future, we will try to have more (and probably easier) hunts staggered throughout the day so that people from around the world can play.

There are actually quite a few people from the UK in the game, though I'm not sure how many have come back. We also have a large contingent from New Zealand.

Well, that was fun. I liked clue #1 and #2. But #3 and #4 were tooo geekish. Congrats to the winniers. At least I know who will have nice shiny new upgrades when the game starts. Unless they don't upgrade the first thing when the game starts, then it will be my money.

actually sludgie, you won't be able to get my money, because my shiip will be sunk, so it will be nowhere to be found until I log in and use that gold...:)

That might be because there were NATO flags in there too. The site I originally went to had me stuck for while so I refined my search and ended up finding a site that had both on it and was able to solve.

Yes, it was a little late for me as well :( Don't get me wrong it was very much appreciated SeacaptainN & Bcp. Don't wan't to sound ungrateful or anything  But.. by the time I got on to the 2nd question it was getting very late so I had to call it a day. Must be tricky finding a time so suit all though. With the different nationalities of players there is always going to be a problem with time difference somewhere.

Congrats to the winners btw :)

yeah, I had to stay up a little later than planned...

maybe have a treasure hunt that will have one for 12 noon and one for 12 midnight, and have players only able to sign up for one of them
