Free Re-Launch Kick-Off Treasure Hunt! - Starting 02.25.07 8PM EST

We are pleased to announce the first treasure hunt of the NEW Pirate The World!

It will start on February 25th at 8PM PTW time and run until 11:59PM on the 28th..right before the stat reset. Everyone is invited!

The prize will be gold to be handed out when the game comes back up on March 1st. The prizes will be as follows:

1st: 10000g
2nd: 7500g
3rd: 5000g
4th: 2500g
5th: 1000g
6th: 1000g
7th: 1000g
8th: 1000g
9th: 500g
10th: 500g

If you remember what it was like to start from scratch, you'll know how important 10 thousand gold will be. It will give you a jump start into the new environment. :-)

There will, however, be a few things different with this treasure hunt.

1. The link to the treasure hunt will be posted in the member's area. You will have to be logged in to access it.

2. You will not be entered into the hunt system until you solve all of the puzzles. This means that you will not be able to skip ahead or start searching randomly on the map for possible treasure.

wow cant wait will also be my first hunt, although i feel like popcan has been hunting me my whole lifetime but thats another story
its good having the game back up and the changes so far have been wounderful
