Settle down sealander. I know you're a pirate but there's no need to yell.

I run the site. There is only one of me and PTW honestly doesn't make enough to get some of the prizes you're talking about, however there are still prizes out there. The most popular, it seems, are actually amazon gift certificates, as that can be used on whatever you want. It also means that we don't have to keep stock-on-hand of things like laptops or xboxes.

I am currently in the process of overhauling the entire site, reducing the amount of code that is repeated, and generally cleaning things up. It hasn't been done in years. The cashout history and prize pages should get updated soon, but mostly we've been posting those things on the forums. :D

As to the end-of-February cashout, I'll post it in another thread. We have some updates for March and April coming as well, and we will post those soon. We are also going to send out a email to our entire membership (something we don't do very often) which will hopefully bring back some people who left during the non-cashout months. :D

:king: :rambo:

And you came at a strange time on the sea's lol Go and read past posts on the forum and you will see that things have changed over the months :) As for the play in March just keep doing what you have been doing :)

All is good on the seas, see ya out there lol

Can you explain a bit more about what you're asking for and why it'd be useful?

I had a plan of something like this for the new site, but I'm curious if what I'm thinking of is what you're thinking of. Since I'm spending some time renovating the old site I might be able to work it in too.

it would give our little dots on the radar more meaning

unless someone goes to the forum and posts, we don't know anything about them except they are a little blue dot with a name by it.... It would be like looking at the side of their ship

on this profile page you would be able to post a pic of yourself, where you work, favorite music, biggest plunder, largest lose, who's your in game friends, pics of your family......

this would be basically just a blank page with the option to add your own html or bbcode

you could add it to the radar so when you see a dot their name would be below the radar and you could click it to see their profile

this would give people more to do then just log in move 600 times and log out

Sounds good and very, very similar to what I was thinking of as well.

I may not be able to allow bbcode or straight html code, as that presents a lot of security risk for cross-site scripting attacks and such (as people can insert anything), but we'll see.

I like the idea and will try to work it in soon.

I love the idea of being able to see other people's biggest loss and whatnot!

that would be nifty

other categories to ponder:

ships sunk
how long they've been here
pearls found
biggest plunder
