I can't type messages anymore because my enter key is broken. Any ideas?

How about your other 'enter' key??. You should have 1 near the letters, and another by the number pad.
And sorry about trying to sink you, I didn't know you still logged in.

because I have lost probably 9 moves in the course of the last month on him. Hehehehe.

Dude.... buy a new keyboard !!! LOL

cheap keyboards are like 10-15 bucks.... lately I have been buying one every few weeks , coffee, kids juice?, and a bad stock market day killed my last 3 .

I have a mac, and there is no other enter or return key.

Let me know if you need help connecting it to PTW chat. After writing your message you can click the button next to the text window instead of having to press the enter key. Sometimes it repeats the 1st few letters of the message, so hit backspace before writing (This can be a pain, but you'll get use to it.).

alright i have an IRC chat called chatzilla but don't know how to get into pirate the world's chat. Can someone help?

You were trying to type where only commands can be used. When you type /join piratetheworld, it opens another tab for you which is PTW chat. Click on that tab to start chatting.

Ahoy to all pirates.

To join the chat with any chat client, you require the following steps:

- start up the program ( eg. chatzilla, mirc )
- connect to the irc server : /server irc.dark-future.org
- join the channel: /join #piratetheworld
- try to keep your ingame nickname so people recognize you

/nick yournick
