Invisible ships?

Am i going blind or are ghost ships attacking, 3 different ships hit me and i never saw them and haven't found them anywhere :evil:

about becoming invisible,I woulnt recommend it lol . in the past there was a script bug that would occur when a user would use firefox and IE , before the blinking ship bug was fixed i would farm on IE fisn on firefox. somehow the fishing screen (firefox) would stay active making you invisible while you were huntin/farming on IE .

this bug looks different but I would be willing to bet that however was benefiting from this was using the "ghost" ships for tracking purposes.

there is 1 good thing about having a small membership and that it makes it easier to flush out cheaters.

I hadn't even thought of that, pop makes a good point.

As an alternative I suggest making them visible, but yellow for their 1st 3 days. No one can attack a yellow ship, not even other new players.

INVISIBLE SHIP ISSUE SOLVED
I am glad to announce that today when I hauled my oyster dredge up from the bottom of a lagoon that among the oysters, crabs, and trash a Cloaking Device rolled out of the pile. It was just like the one on Star Trek, the one where Spock had some kind of interspecies finger sex with the Romulan Commander. Well I stuck it on the mast of my ship and presto, I can not see my ship.

I hope this clears up all the confusion.
