Just found my very fist assayer to accumulate my pearls worth!. Got 2 pearls and I handed them to the assayer.

First one was worth of 0.5 silver doubloon. But with second one Im getting this message "You hand your pearl to the assayer. He pulls out a small platinum hammer and delicately taps your pearl. Your pearl emits a soft gold luminesence as he holds it up to the light and says:

(Looking down down his nose at you) You're bringing garbage like this to me?!? I will not even be bothered to tell you what this is worth, begone!"


I heard that when they wont tell you the price of the pearl, it is worthy ?

that is a platinum assayer (you can tell by his hammer) and since you brought him a crappy pearl (probably worth .01 GD) he doesn't want to trade it in
