Here's the scoop: I've reached the point where I can't earn enough gold to earn an upgrade at one time, so it just sits in my boat overnight. Even with a zero fame level, I'm losing more overnight than I can earn the next day. In other words, if I go to sleep with 100k in gold and get attacked 15-20 times overnight, I'll lose 15-20K, which is more than I came make up the next day, putting me on a death spiral.

Is there any way around this? Being stuck in the middle sucks.

Make yourself some maps and farm them every day so you can earn more gold per day.

buy moves and upgrade hull and attackand you can keep your gold a little bit longer.also make friends in chat too.

Your defence is around the 100k mark yet 15-20 people get through on you over night??.
