Pirate The World - Online Adventure Game

So to start off, July cashout was a little "lean". PTW didn't take in very much while the amount of gold in the game stayed relatively stable. This meant that the cashout level was very high and very few people chose to cash out.

That means, though, that we have a surplus. Each month, the "cashout cash" that isn't taken is either rolled into the next month's cashout or saved up for treasure hunts/prizes.

That means that August could be a very fun month...

We could have a treasure hunt, or a series of small treasure hunts....

We could get a couple of prizes, and scatter them around in pearls, or maybe have treasure hunts for them instead of cash....

I'm also open to ideas that you guys have. Please post them here and discuss.

In addition, I've received a few questions from people asking about a full stat reset. There's another topic about that.

I've never had a prize pearl and would get a real buzz if I found 1 So I vote for more prize pearls please SeaCaptainN

i didnt cash out expecting that the money would roll over to make cashout easier for this month ... and that is what i would like to see happen as it is money from the cashout pot

I like the idea of prize pearls

For the long-term sake of the game, I think the money should be reinvested and paid out in the standard method. Much as I would love to find a prize pearl, there are a lot of long-term players who have built up big balances and deserve it (No, I'm not one of them.).

Whilst i like the idea of prize pearls i have noticed there are a few outstanding ones that still haven't been dealt with.

Treasure hunts are good fun but if it's brand names and logo's again remember that not all countries have the same things on sale.

Prize pearls, I would love to see those I dont ever have enough to cashout but I do invest in plenty of extra turns and fame resets. Plus the fact that everyone is equal in finding a prize pearl does not matter that you are very high or very low. Just seems like if all the money I am paying for extra's in this game is going to pay out the highest players then I can always resort back to not playing for many months nor investing any of my money. At least with the prize pearls we can all have a chance at winning something and not just the very high players getting all the fun in the game. I only come to play this game in hopes of finding a prize pearl but seems the only thing I can find is pearls that contain .01 gold and those are even few and far between nowadays. So if there is no reason to come play the game other than to farm gold that isn't fun.

I agree with ladylove, prize pearls would be lots of fun. I have been playing for some time now and the only prize pearl I have ever found was for silver. Now the silver was nice but I only found one once. Can't even remember how much it was for now. Anyway, if you were to put more prize pearls out there it would keep the new players' interest and may even put more money into the game. You could put more smaller prizes in the pearls instead of the bigger ones and more players could win then.

i agree that prize pearls should remain and have at least 50% of the monthly prise pool in them so everyone has a chance at getting something but to add what i think could be an interesting twist to the game add about 40 or so pearls each month that can be traded for 24 hours for a hitting power of 50 that will allow even the weakest players to hit and get through anyone this will upset those players who consider them selves untouchable but will encourge new players so that if they find one for a day they will be feared by all which im sure some of us would love the added bonous will be that no one will know when and by who you could be hit. also doing away with the 10k cashout for a SD would also herlp i personally like it ahd ive used it to my advantage but making it a harder would be better and would increase the chances of getting better hits which im suire the bigger pirates would like but if u do that make the resets cheaper or get more moves for your moneyi know 40 pearls seems a lot but remmember its a 600 x 600 grid

Prize pearl will be great if one can find out what it is and actually cash it.
I have one pearl in my chest and do not know what it is.

Pearls are one of the best things about this game, so I would vote for more of them! Talk about a great way to hook newbies!
