I just want to make sure that if I change my id tomorrow that I won't lose my stats that built up to today. It would be a pitty for me to assume that I would have the same stats only to find out that if I changed to a new id I'd be back in a dingy at the start of the day.
I tried to change to a new id when I logged in this morning but it wouldn't let me. Now it appears that I can change.

Not sure why it wouldn't let you earlier, but if you change your name you will not lose any of your stats.
