I apologize SO MUCH for what happened.

The reset script from the end of September accidentally ran at the end of October as well.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do about it yet--I will have to investigate and see how much data I can recover.

Until further notice (most likely several hours while I sleep off Halloween), the game is frozen.

I looked at my stats and it says I have 0 gold.I thought that I didn't lose any,but I did.

Yep the stats page will show 0 gold until you return your gold back to your ship. You can see the amount of gold you have on the cashout page if you didn't click on that link yet.

Looks like another reset to me that would be the easiest fix

Please let us know what's going on as soon as possible I don't want to lose my gold. If I have to I'll convert into silver. Thanx SeaCaptainN.

well I for one have done a select all/copy/paste of my stats. I say to hell with the rest of the stuff, just plug in our stats and lets get to sinking.

so are we going to take the day off? I'd kinda like to know if I need to come back before midnight to get moves in.

I just cashed out my gold for silver hoping to get to the play screen but it still won't open the grid page. Bugger, I didn't want to cash out at all. I wish I had known it wouldn't work.

wwsucks: I reversed your transactions. I reversed it once but you did it again.

Official Update!

1. I have painstakingly combed the database and reversed all of the transactions that people did. There were 38 players that had at least one transaction that had to be reversed.

2. The game will un-freeze tonight around midnight. Rather than letting some people get to use moves and others not, November 1st will be a missing day for everyone.

3. Cashout will continue through November 2nd. You will have an additional day to choose your cashout options. Like point #2, 11/1 just doesn't exist.

When I first saw the reports come in, I thought that it was much, much worse. Luckily, I was able to recover everything and the only thing that was lost was the 24 hours of November 1st.

Good job capt, I think you made the right choice not starting back until after midnight, everyone gets a day off
