im wondering why the amount lost used to be about 3% with 1 fame but has risen to about 41/2% lately and dont bother with no bull about complicated formulas and why did mary o2o3 lose 3473 to aurelia when she had no fame and only 69k PLEASE EXPLAIN ????????????????

santosh you don't understand. I had 0 fame and only 69K and got hit one time for 3473 !!!!! I don't understand how that could happen.

I'm wondering if maybe it has something to do with observation?

jw if i remember right aurelia gets 4 1/2% because her attack level is probably 4-6 levels higher than mary's so she gets the usual 3% plus 1/4% for every extra attack level above mary's.... hope this helps.

this game is totally set up against newbies and that is why we are 152 members. I have played both sides of the fence as a powerhouse before reset and a newbie after reset since i didnt start playing until 2 months after reset. this has totally opened my eyes and I know realize how many people i discouraged into quitting in the past because there was NEVER any hope of getting ahead.

still hoping that the admins have a change of heart in selling the game

Thanks Pop, that makes sense. I didn't realize that it worked that way either. That is the first time I lost that kind of gold with no fame. And it makes sense that the newbies don't stay. I try not to hit them to much I do look for sinkers when I dont have much to loose though. Makes me want to rethink that also.


And as far as SeaCapt, I sent him a pm over a month ago and he still hasn't picked it up. Don't know what has happened to him and bcp. I thought he was back but seems they both are awol!

But that is only when Mary had 1 fame. It doesn't explain how Aurelia got over 3K when Mary had 0 fame and only 69K (unless Mary DID have 1 fame, maybe she hit a town by mistake or something).

yea, it is possible that I may have had one fame and not realized it. it has been known to happen

OK, so I had zero fame, almost 77k onboard, and Aurelia hit me for about 2,500k. Way to go Aurelia, guess that's what u call a super pirate.

I'm curious what your stats are at Aurelia. My defense is at 2 300k upgrades, so to hit me for so much i wonder if you're in the millions? My white flag is raised

Ok, so it's possible I had 1 fame when Aurelia hit me. I don't think I did, but she was the first pirate to hit me successfully. J ust thought I'd make a note.

im losing 2.25% more than i should be so aurelia's attack must be around 34-35

the game setup is so badly designed that newbies or intermediate players have ZERO chance of ever getting to higher levels, basically its the level im at now. the only way for me to get ahead now is to build maps and farm all day.... i would rather stick a lead pencil in my eye than farm again

stolen gold script should be reversed as it also only punishes the weak, losing 5k to someone who hasn't played in months really isnt interesting at all.


no wonder everyone quits (including the admins)
