also when you catch up to the top players and they are all trying to save for that massive upgrade you'll be able to hit them when their fame is up and score an upgrade yourself.

I find this awkward since I wasn't even going for my 25k upgrade and I hit 22k but then decided to get a different upgrade a few days back. If I see another pirate I usually get hit by them because of my slow dsl and I barely hit other pirates I see roaming around (except for I think fearthefox AND rycechrispy passed by me today with a full boat o' gold and high fame without hitting me - phew!) - I usually play around 3 pm on weekdays and 3 am on weekends (I don't care about telling you all that) so if you want to try my times and see if you get attacked (maybe by me ;)) then have fun.

It's even worse when you get to higher upgrades and you lose 8k right before an upgrade and have no chance of getting back to it that day. (I can't remember who did that to me the other day - but I was drunk so I didn't care at the time)

That must suck big time. Today I have lost 16k all because of not finding a reset :twisted: . Congrats to those that got the booty LOL. Mmm might need to change my strategy.
