Any prizes found yet?

I am guessing no, since if one was found, we would've heard, haha

But also, what does it say when you find one?

Usually while I am hopping around and pressing the spacebar like a madman, I barely read what comes up...I don't want to end up finding one and then lose it because I didn't read it, haha

When you find a prize it sends an email to us so that we know about it. The message sent to you will vary depending on what you won, but generally will be like "Congratulations, you have found ..."

Any ideas on what you will be giving out for the pirate ranks?

If anyone has specific suggestions for prizes and awards, please post them in the suggestions forum.

We will be having prizes for the rankings, by the way.

And there are prizes hidden on islands--it's just that no one has found them yet. :-D

There will be an award for 1st, 2nd and 3rd on the piracy lists. Right now we are planning on giving 30 gold dubloons for 1st, 20 gold dubloons for 2nd and 10 gold dubloons for 3rd on each of the 2 lists.

I take it you are referring to my post... why give silver dubloons when they cannot be cashed out?

haha

that's what I thought

and something else I thought about...

can you trade in gold dubloons for moves and stuff?

I think they should be double the value of silver dubloons, so the same amount of silver dubloons to give you a fame reset will get you two fame resets with the same amount og gold dubloons, ya know?

Silver Dubloons can ONLY be spent for in-game purchases of moves, resets, game merchandise, etc, and can not be removed from your account. Gold Dubloons can be spent the same as silver but can also be withdrawn from your account at a later date.

well, I appreciate the reply, but that is something I already know...

I am asking that don't you think that gold dubloons, being so valuable, should have a higher exchange rate than silver if you were to exchange them in?

"can you trade in gold dubloons for moves and stuff?"
i thought that was your question so i dug up the post for you.

Double would be far too much of an advantage to any one who got gold dubloons. I have an announcement to post which will cover a lot of the issues.
