when will we see this sort of thing again? i wasn't even a member when you did this, thus not having a shot at getting randomly drawn.

Those are things that are put into the islands, just like the X-Box was. Everyone has an equal chance to win them, and it leaves out the players that were here for a couple of days and then gone cause they aren't hitting the islands to win them.

I believe they are working on a Treasure Hunt for the next project and I for one can't wait to play that one!

Those were not things that were put into islands. They were given to randomly selected players. You did not have to do anything to be selected, and some of those people do not play anymore, and possibly did not play then. The items being hid on islands came much later and is totally different.

Whoops, just looked at the date - I wasn't here when those were given out! I much perfer things put on islands as they are now! That way only active players can get them!

Yeah, I hated how half the people that weren't active got the enhancements. Also dzchau or whatever won a 20 doller free giveaway, and he doesn't even play anymore.

Hiding things on the islands is the fairest way to do it. That way everyone that plays has a chance to win them, and those that are just taking up a spot won't be moving around to win anything. It was really neat that it was a random thing like with the X Box because it was not won in the first hour of the search.

do you really think that they are hiding 20$ in the islands? enhancements are there though.

We actually are thinking about putting cash prizes on islands to be found.
