2 months without a sinker... ive been trying hard to sink one but they wont go down

I'm in the same boat (but don't sink me!)! I sunk a bunch at the beginning of June, then nothing since then!

I've looked in the database, and the next ship that is going to sink is about 40 attacks away from sinking.

It's not that they're not sinking...it's just that there's nobody who stopped playing at the right time (probably about a month ago).

has any one sunk any ships this week as i have hit so many ships that have not moved in weeks and still there

Just attacking a ship does not add to the sinking counter, it has to be a successful attack.
