Pirate The World - Online Adventure Game

I really believe this game is set up so that only long time players can meet cashout. Almost every time I get close to an upgrade, BANG , I get robbed. I wouldn't mind if it were a few hundred or even a thousand , but when you are hit for almost 1/3 of what you have it makes it almost impossible to upgrade.

Yeah, I know. Wah , Wah , Wah. I played this a long time ago and forgot why I quit. NOW I REMEMBER. Well, guess I'll
be quitting again because I am not investing a lot of time in this game to make money for all the higher ranked players.
It would be different if I was hoarding but I always upgraded and because I have been getting hit so hard I was trying to
upgrade my hull. And most of my attacks were so low that one hit on me wipes out everything I won in a week of attacks
on others. The only time I get lucky was sinking a ship now and then.

Well, I want to wish POPCAN , PTRDANNO ,THEFRED and all the others who are the captains of this game good luck because they won't be getting any more from me. I really don't know what is/isn't fair but I know I am not continuing
to play in a game that is so biased against new players. I do know if I played long enough I would figure out how to make
upgrades but it takes to much time. 5 steps up only to fall back 4.

Ahoy To Captain Kirk i have only been playing since Aug 29 and have lost 500 k Gold peices int the process sorry to see you go. It sounds like you have kept getting hit while you had some fame on you. This is a strategy role playing adventure game. If you have a chance come to the chat and converse with some of the others form some alliances of mutual understanding and such. But if you are firmly deceided to go Best of luck to you of course you have yet to meet CaptainFearless.

I just started playing and have been able to make progress with upgrades and collecting gold. I don't know if I'll ever make cash-out, but I seem to be getting upgrades fairly easily. I really think player would benefit from alliances.

Alliances / Fleets are definitely on the horizon. I feel like other games like this have something like it in place and we're lacking.

I would like to see a new person presented with a screen that allows them to choose an alliance before they start to play on the open ocean. Of course, anyone can choose not to join, but I think a big part of PTW is teaming up with other people.

My fleet would be called Robin Hood
