you work your butt off to try to accumulate gold for another upgrade but because of the chronic lag you can't run. I was $500 short of my first upgrade in almost a month and the friggen game lags once and I lose over 77000...my fame was a bit up but fame resets are at a low...wth are we supposed to do? I have paid alot into this game and the issues are never resolved...in fact, the lag is worse today than it usually is...which is always bad anyways...

we need compensation :evil:

...no sense in trying to sink ships cause you'll lose the gold plus more anyways...don't attack towns cause that ups your fame...if you can't find a fame reset you're screwed..attack islands and don't find enough gold to cover the attacks when your not playing..The only players getting anywhere are the big guys because they are too strong to attack and quite often you get your gold stollen so there goes yesterdays efforts..
I said I wasn't paying into the game anymore but then when my treasure chest was empty and I needed a fame reset so stupid me paid another $20...of course you can't find one before your moves are done...so you either buy more or lose it all...

ARGGGGG this game P's me off

I don't worry about others attacking and taking my gold;that's part of the game. I just keep going and not getting mad at others.

Don't give up, it is just as hard for the rest of us as it is you. Our upgrades might be higher but we still loose alot of gold to other players. Some days I break even and I am still happy. It is just a game and if you stick with it you will start to see more and more fails in you log.

My favorite part of this game is that you need 265000 Gold to get paid. Very reasonable for 99% of the players here. Uh-huh.

Well I think that this whole month is outrageous. No one is finding pearls. The cash out is just ridiculous and resets are far and few between. Is this month going so bad for so many because of the Christmas day bonus? That is the theory I have come to believe. Can the owner explain what is going on?

The pearls are not affected by the Christmas day extravaganza... They are back to the old system before Christmas is all.

Someone did find a pearl today, by the way, with a T-Shirt in it... Who it is I can't say yet, but someone is carrying it around. :-)

The cashout value is determined by how much gold there is in the game and how much money we have to give out. When we have more money to give out in a month, the pot goes up and the cashout value goes down. When people aren't carrying around as much gold (i.e. from spending it on upgrades, the cashout value goes down.

Gee the game has been working pretty good despite the lag and sometimes circumstances that lead to suspicion on the part of players myself included at times but it is a game. Just hang in there you seagoing crooks. Oh yes lady pirates some one is looking for a first mate to replace their cabin boy. And as for the pearls i don t know how many there are i know where a bunch of them are Have fun M8s..............

I found 4 pearls within the last few days, so the pearls are out there but they are still in my treasure chest, gotta find me a town with an assayer that's open or if I notice it has one before attacking and moving on then I will make the exchange all depending what's inside them. (Hoping it's that T-shirt I can wear to work and show off and brag about.)
