Hello all. I'm new to all this but was enjoying my first day out and about scouring for goodies. I have a question i hope one of you can answer. I found a pearl, which is currently in my treasure chest. What on earth do i do with it?

I was afraid to tell anyone at first cause i didn't know if you all could rob stuff in my treasure chest or not. But now i know you cant so could someone tell me what i do with this thing?

When you go to a town you will see the options, the bottom option will either be visit the tavern or visit the assayer. you need to find an open assayer to assess the value of your pearl. THere are multiple level assayers and pearls. One assayer might think what you have brought is junk, another might not be quite sure of the value because it is beyond their ability to judge. But assayers will not lie to you. When you find one that knows what you have and offers to buy it from you, you can sell it.

Are there any pearls worth more than .01 GD or .10 SD?

Yes, there are a number of higher-value pearls out there. .01 GD .10 SD are just the most common ones.

Also, t-shirts, replica doubloons, iPods, free treasure chest moves / resets, free upgrades and so on can be found in pearls.

Yea i found out that not all towns have an "assayer" I was confused becuase i hit like 10 towns before i found one.
