 Post subject: Question for you who make your own maps

I've been screwing around with Excel trying to start a map of my own, and I was wondering if anyone had any clue how to change the rows from letters to numbers, get it to show negative numbers, or limit the range? It'd be a bit of a pain to translate number combos to letters every time I want to find something.

just make row A and column zero your numbers and such...
