So i was driving to a job interview when i see a suspicious purple van parked on the side of the road (in the middle of no where). By the time i realized it was a mufty speed camera, it was too late... i was going 115k/hr in a 100k zone and it has flashed me :(

so on the way back from the interview, i decided to pull over to the opposite side of the road and started flashing all of the oncoming traffic to warn them about the camera. After about 10 mins of doing this, a uniformed policeman came over and knocked on my window and told me if i dont stop doing that, he gonna give me anuther ticket coz its illegal to warn ppl about speed cameras !!!11!! :(

At that stage, i was thinking about sneaking up to the van and taking one of its licence plates and putting it on my car then proceeding to drive past the speed camera at excessively high speeds. But i didnt have any tools, and im sure if he saw me i would be in alot of trouble.

On the upside though - i will now get a foto of me speeding for my wall! :) lol

Here in the states it's not illegal to do that. There was a precedence set when a guy took it to court over the ticket and they said it wasn't illegal. You tell them to tell you where in the penal code it says that it's illegal to flash oncoming traffic.
