yesterday afternoon, me and 3 of my other friends got bored so decided to have a final fantasy 7 marathon (for those of you who dont know, it takes on average 60 hours for a first time player to complete). Armed with a screwdriver and roll of tape.. we opened up two of the ps2's to make them copied-game friendly (no, you dont need a modchip, just need to know what to do) - the other two were original playstations, and so only needed a blob of blu tack to make them run copied games (using the game disk-swap trick). (if anyone cares i can post the steps to doing this - i know how to do it on original psx, ps2 & ps2 slimline).

Anyway, after 4 bottles of coke, 9 caffine tablets, and 20 hours, i gave up - only after spending 3 hours trying to kill the big wall boss at the end of disk 1. My other 3 friends have been going now for 25 hours.. they're looking pretty tired. got me sum ice for when they drift off to sleep

Anyway.. im bored so i thought id post.

Hahaha.. Awesome. Im an old time Final Fantasy 7 fan. Wagged alot of schooling to finish that game. But yes its very time consuming. Watched the movie a couple of days ago. Not too bad. Loved the fight scenes and sephiroth is the man. Too bad that bad guys always lose.

I love Final Fantasy II(US)... I almost got into FF7 a ways before my PC (it was a PC version of the game) crapped out and lost my saved game. :-( I don't even remember where I was anymore--definitely past the casino.
