Pirate The World - Online Adventure Game

im making a new program that basically maps out the world automatically as you play and lets u view map as you play.

That sounds like a good idea. How big is the map?

at the moment its a 15x15 grid (you set which co ordinate is the middle and it sets all the ones around it) but when i find a more efficient way of doing it (working on it already), i should be able to increase the size without it crashing your computer! haha.

I view this as a form of cheating and I would discourage any form of automatic maping. A huge NO to this Idea. Why cant you simply play the game as its intended? Why do you have to always cheat the system?

Just have fun man. Or find a game that you actually want to play.

i find this could ruin the game...

so a program is going to auto map, whats the diffreence between that and mapping it yourself? I dont think that there is a chance that this could ruin the game

I see this as CHEATING.....so if having an auto tracker and mapper for this game......prompts admin to come out with that retarded statement that they can change maps at anytime.......um.........STOP THE CHEATING please.


Let people play the game as the game was intended - for humans to play, and click banners etc.......NOT for a computer program to automaticaly plot for you.


Make this game WAY different to all the other game on the net please....keep it honest.....and keep it FAIR.....



ADMIN......I play to your better judgement on here. Ban those that use, an auto tracker/mapper. Its simply not right.

what is your problem? the game is working fine, the admins have never made a retarded statement, and they wont ban people for a mapping program. they just want to mess with the map sometimes so that people dont get too dependent on them

Yes, the game grid. We will not change the map because of the auto mapped though, just every now and again to keep the game fresh. I will talk with shelvock about your concerns enzed... your voice is heard and we'll use our best judgment to decide if it will be allowed or not.

i think that the idea to change the map is great - it will make gameplay more interesting. I also don't think they should announce that it has been changed, and people will have to figure it out for themselves that their maps are no longer accurate. It will add quite a funny twist to the game, and more fun will come with it
