Post subject: | Clarification as far as Fame |
Ok, so I get the whole Fame thing--- but just to clarify, If your fame is 0 and you are attacked and they succeed, then they should get 1% of your gold. For instance, if I had 1300 gold, and someone attacked, with me having 0 fame, then they should get 13 gp right? 'Cause I ended with 0 fame, and was attacked just a lil while ago and the attacker got 62 gp, which is closer to 5%. Did the fame calc change? Did I miss something? I mean I look at my stats and it states 0 fame, but I can accept that there could be a display error. |

Interesting. Before I went back into the game, was attacked again by the same person, same money and fame and it was 12 gold this time. Momentary lack of math? |

they attacked you again? hopefully it was a different day since you can't attack someone 2 times in a single day.. As for the gold calculation, that is a little odd with a 0 fame...but once you go above 0, then you might find the calculation a little off due to a somewhat hidden factor, me thinks |

Post subject: | Was definately zero fame |
Chronology was in a nutshell, I played early in the day, ended with 0 fame. Got attacked by user late in the day, 62 gold. Got attacked very early next day, 12 gold. Then I played my moves for that next day. There wasn't an opportunity for fame to change between the two attacks for me. I was not in the game at that time. |

There is an undisclosed factor in the attack calculations that is causing this. It's not a problem with the system -- it just adds a little more randomness. Smaller values will have a larger margin of error, though. |
