if there's say a 1% chance once you found the RIGHT spot, then:

So, *I'd* say that the chances were LESS than what you quoted.

heres the probability

theres x amount of islands...

lets keep it small and say 100 although we all know theres a ton more... so dont rip on the numbers...


k, so 1/100 to find the right island... now 10% chance once you find the right island...

so 1/100 * .1 = 1/1000 ... so theres a nice little easy problem... if you know exactly how many islands there are... then you can figure it out

ah... but your forgetting that only islands contain the x-box... hence making it a higher probability if you know islands...

If I even liked the Xbox, I would put more effor into finding it.
As it is, if I find it I will find it.

Now, what I would like is something like a PS2.
Now that thing would make me look harder as I love that game and so do my kids and I could always use another unit in the house.

I didn't forget nothing... I'm stating a fact cause few people know where many islands are.

But, for the sake of arguement, using some figures posted elsewhere, we'll say there is roughly 7 islands for every 25 spots

so out of 160801 spots, that'd make roughly 45000 islands or around .0000221
and 10 % of that would be .00000221 with 1% being .000000221.

Happy now? lol

I have a PS2. I have 2 of them.
Just said I would like another one over a Xbox.

You see, I not like the Xbox too much cause of thier controller setup's and gaming options end up as junk.

They make you do all kinds of crude and silly combo's with the button's that you really would of not needed to do with a diferent type of system.

One main thing I not like about PS1, PS2, OR the XBOX is the movement option crap.
Stupid being forces to use analog buttons to move in a game.
PURE BS to have to not only move with 1 button but then have to use another button to keep the camera picture looking in the right direction at the same time. Grrrrrr...
I prefer more of the older games I guess to where you could just pic 1 view angle and go with it and stuff like that.


oh well, none of that matters.

I just not like the Xbox, gave my last 1 away.
If I win this one? heck, I give it to my oldest son I guess and gie his PS2 to one of the other kids.

Oh ya, that right, I been married for 13yrs and yes, we have 5 kids.

5 Kids and no PS2? yea right! Then the kids would have more time to drive me nutts
