Pirate The World - Online Adventure Game

I tells ya. Today has been the worst I've experienced. I'll go to move and it'll take 30 secs to 1 min over and over again. Then the server went down completely and came back up. Please get this fixed admins. It's tough for us mid-level folks to keep our gold when we have high fame and get the lag.

Server seems fine for me. Anyone else having issues with server lag?

no fair - i have the fast speed lol, but I am still hit for amounts totaling over 13k today

The server goes through bouts here and there where it will go down briefly or slow down alot. When I was on dialup, I noticed at times there would be a few hours where it'd go fairly slow and then all of a sudden speed up. It made me wonder if people were using bots that were slowing it down, though I'm not sure how much of an affect they would have on server speed in this game unlike some others I know.

my guess would be not a whole lot more than if the real person was playing. the server does go through some slow times - usually at resets i've noticed - but I havent ran into any lately - maybe its because i've barely had any time to play lol

At resets the server get really slow for me. I guess its because of all the moving and plundering that goes down at that time

Server drops again...6:29:32pm PTW time. Page not found message for all PTW pages. Comes back at 6:32pm. Gameplay sluggish afterwards giving choppy moves. Does this to me at least once a day. Again, not my internet. Works fine for everything else.

And I thought it was just me. Been doing that the whole time I played earlier!

Sometimes it goes really slow for me, and other times it clips right along. Sometimes I do get the page not found message after a very, very long timeout. I've also got a mysql error message, although that seems to happen when the game is updated.

I haven't really found a pattern. Some days it's super fast at reset and other days it's not.

8:33 ptw time. Drops for 20 secs. I feel like I'm playing on dial-up tonight. Seriously admins...get a handle on this or at least acknowledge that you're taking steps to rectify the problem. There's no way there's that much traffic on the site. Either that or everyone is just being really sneaky about how they're moving.

Well I was definately one of the fastest before they changed it to hotkeys.

You should take a look at your attack log from today, I believe I screamed by you without a return attack
