Pirate The World - Online Adventure Game

When the heck are you going to do whatever you need to do to make the game load faster.

It's pretty dumb how it feels like I have dial up internet, and I'm losing gold over something that shouldn't have happened.

Can I have an update on what's going on and when it'll run smoothly?

um.. everyone else is havin the same problems you are.. so thats not why you got hit...

Everytime I try it always works fine. I know it does happen at certain times though.

when you try do you attack someone

if you are are they attacking back

i reset my cache about every 5 mins to keep the speed up

i have found that if you attack someone and they are NOT playing there is a little bit of lag

if you attack someone and they are also moving there is more lag

if you attack someone and they are playing AND you havent reset your cache within the last 5 mins there is ALOT of lag some times like 1-2 mins

if you search an island or attack a town and someone attacks you and you havent reset you cache there is ALOT of lag

if you havent reset your cache and there are alot of people playing... forget it go take a nap because you can restart ff you can turn the computer off and on go eat lunch take the kids to a ballgame.... you will be waiting like 5- 10 mins per move

things i do to speed the game up
turn scripts off
reset cache (ff tools, clear private data )every 5-10 mins
dont run more then one thing on this computer
restart ff like every 30 mins

another tip dont go to ptw first when there is lag... go to some random web page first..... for some reason if there is lag and i close ff and hit my link for ptw on my desktop it takes forever to load any of the ptw pages... but if i go to my homepage first clear my cache then go to ptw it usually runs faster

the final thing to remember this is just a game

Wow that's a crazy list. I can't imagine our game is causing that much problem, but I believe it's possible. As I said we may have to take the game offline for awhile. Not sure.

Ok cool? I didn't know that? In my first post I clearly said that I was the only one having this problem?

The reason I got hit WAS because of the lag...I saw them moving and was moving to get away after I hit and run, it took forever to load, and they hit me. I lost gold because of it..
