I think you're right the cashout level is definitely a problem. But aren't there other avenues we could go down rather than a reset? Also.. even with a stat reset you're eventually going to get to the point again where upgrades will cost an arm and a leg. I don't know what the answer is to that? But if the game is made too easy (and the upgrades too cheap) it becomes less a game and more like shooting fish in a barrel.



That of course would not be good. Or perhaps it would be depending on which player you where But how often does this really happen? I can only speak from personal experience. And was being completely honest when I said it had only happened to me once. Even then it was the reverse. I hit somebody for 10,000 and never received the money. Maybe I have just been lucky with the attack bug. Perhaps it happens to others 3-4 times a day. I don't know? We could keep coming up with reasons both for & against. But if I'm being honest it all boils down to me personally not wanting my hard work to go too waste. Aka - pissing in the wind.

happened to me today with Chevy for only around 6 grand, but hits like that don't really matter to me...

but when it happens and you are down 80K, then it's a little upsetting...

Yeah that pretty much sucks But, is it not a bit of giant leap though to go from: people are getting stung by the attack bug so therefore all stats are null & void (including legitimate hits, gold found, etc.. lets reset them. That seems to be what's being implied and I just can't see the logic in that.

I too would be in for a reset of everyone's stats. I would hate to see my stats go away after such hard work though because they are damn good. But I'm for the reset, especially if it goes back to the old system where you actually have to put in work to see results.

Nes, I wouldn't mind switching back to the old attack system either.
In an ideal world it would be great to please everyone really. Old attack system + fix the attack bugs + no reset ... that would be good.
Unlikely to ever happen, but still...

lol, yea we can dream. It would be nice to have atleast half of the registered users came back to the game because of a reset. Imagine 3000 people playing this game minus the lag.

.. the IDEAL world for ME would be no reset, old attack system.. but i dont think what is ideal for me is ideal for everyone.. i do think the old attack system is better because your work means something more than a number.. but i do think the reset is best.. if you got there once you can get there again...

so i take it the game is down and nobody can play now? I guess i misses alot since jan LOL.

After reading through the different views. It's definitely given me food for thought. Having players return on mass would be great! for the game. Perhaps it might need a reset to achieve this? I also agree with you huskers, what the individual player may wan't is not necessarily what the group would like. That's always the tricky part. Trying to come up with a solution that keeps everybody happy. I would be really interested to hear other peoples views. The thread seems to be generating a lot of hits but not too many people posting That's assuming also that the admin read these sorts of posts. Or even take them into consideration when making decisions related to the game.
