i'm still confused about the pearls...

if a "gold assayer" offers me 0.01 gold doubloons for a pearl, is there no way that the pearl could be worth more if i take it to a platinum assayer, or what ever is better ?

i'd hate to sell a t-shirt pearl for 0.01 gold doubloons...

also if the platinum guy says "i don't want that junk" then i won't get anything for them apart from the 0.01 gold from the gold and silver assayers?

Since no one seems to have figured it out yet, the ones with the silver hammers are apprentices, the gold hammers are the journeymen and the platinum are the masters.

And, if you pick up a pearl with a prize...well, you get a different message than normal.

I'm glad someone enjoyed the prize pearl messages.

hopefully one of my 6 new pearls will be a prize, i am yet to find a platinum assayer in days.

so... if i take my pearls to a master (assayer with a platinum hammer) and he is being rude and yells at me, then the only use i have of that pearl is to sell it to a "gold hammerer" or a "silver hammerer" ?

and, most importantly, if i find a price-pearl i cannot sell it for anything else than a price?

my boat is filled with gold as it is, i don't want to pile up tons of pearls too... my boat will sink from the weight...

Obviously, the master feels his time is worth more than a mere .01 or .10 pearl, you can't fault the old guy for being indignant, he has worked hard to earn his position.

how long do the prize pearls take to be in affect ? as in if I had a cannon upgrade pearl and sold it to the assayer how long will it take for me to receive the cannon ?

When you redeem a prize pearl with the assayer, an email is sent to me and cap, and when we see it, the upgrade is applied. Usually less than 24 hours.

I just need to sell it to him to get my prize ? and is it possible to get gold or silver doubloons instead of the t-shirt?

If you sell it to him then you will receive an email asking where to send and what size shirt you would like. You can also take your chance with a non-master and see what they will offer you for it.
