they will not be gp, aka "gold pieces" but they can and will be prize pearls (radar upgrades, ship upgrades, t-shirt, random prizes) or SD (silver Doubloons) and GD (GOld Doubloons) hope that helps |

CSStriker's right. They can be money in the sense of doubloons, the treasure chest currency that you can use to buy fame resets, more moves, etc. You can't sell pearls for gold pieces. |

When ever you find a town, check to see if it says assayers and click on that. Another screen will pop up and tell you what you have. Usually it is .01 gold pieces which is kinda like a penny I think. But sometimes it will say something like the assayer doesn't know what it is and to go to another assayer. That new assayer will either offer to buy it for 2-3 or more silver pieces if it is a valuable pearl. But you must use your descrestion and if you accept the silver you lose the valuable pearl. If you continue on to the next assyer, you will find out probably what you have. If I had accepted my silver offer, I would have lost the laptop pearl, but I knew what I was looking at, thank goodness. Good luck! there are still some real good prizes out there....me...I am looking for that $100 Amazon.com gift certificate or the $50 one. Sniff....sniff.....I don't see or smell it any where....darn it! |

Thats ok Violette, thats about all I have ever found. Got a couple of silver a coupl of times and some moves but most of the time it is the .01 gold. and I have been playing over a year lol
