Another Seemingly Lost Issue.

some might say having the game launch or participating in this great game before everyone else is a good enough reward for slaving away for hours playing the beta (ok, so maybe more having fun with endless moves and attacks than slaving, but anyway....) but i say its not! lol.

Do we get our parrots? i believe all the beta users were promised a token award for their work. I want my parrot!! lol * Insert Tantrum Here *

You cant be a bona fide pirate without a parrot and a bottle of rum. Anyone will tell you im halfway there, just need my parrot.

Seems like we've just been forgoten.

Beta users? What do you mean by that? Am I one? I've been here for quite a while.

The beta of this game began around december 15 and finished just before the actual game started. It was a time for all the beta users to make suggestions about the game, report bugs, hack etc. etc. etc. if you dont know whether you were a beta user or not, your probably not.

edit: the beta began december 10th and to the best of my knowledge, only people who were active in the forum in october/november and people who were asked by shelvock were let into the beta.

I joined in the middle of december. So maybe not. I think it was the first day where the game came back up.

The beta for this game was in november.

yup what i was gonna say... the game went live shortly after dec 1st... and then down... and back up in mid december

no King, you did not participate in Beta testing - you would know if you did, and only a select few were chosen to do so.

And, in agreement with silentbob, I do think that having a parrot or something like that would be cool (maybe make having it some kind of small benefit too :wink:

)

naw, that would be bs, because the people that played beta werent the only ones willing to play beta, and therefore that would screw those people that were here over because they just werent chosen for it..

- the long awaited Treasure Hunt
- the increasing "litter" of inactive ships

And many other things I'm sure have been suggested/complained about that have not been addressed yet. I, like many other regular users, have started to see this game becoming stale very quickly.

Yeah I'm gettin pissed about that. Admin keeps saying that treasure hunts will be able to be played this weekend.

Treasure Hunts are done. We are now trying to pick the best day possible to run the free one so that as many members can participate as possible.
