With the way ranks change, I have to wonder if that is even working right.

In 20 mins with makeing no upgrades i changed from 11 to 21st, then back again to 14th. How is that even possible?

Think about it...

All it takes to jump a lot of places is for you to upgrade 1 item. If your highest stat is Level 10 and you upgrade it to 11, you jump ALL the people who were at Level 10 before. That's not even taking into consideration the 2nd highest, 3rd highest, and so on. With all the upgrading going on in the first few days of the month, I can imagine that people would be jumping all over the Pirate Ranks page.

Are more than one stat counting for highest?

I still dont think it is working right. Just cant understand how you can go from 14th to 21st. moveing below peole who where on the list below you at say 14th.

list looks right to me...

I am wondering the same thing as Nimizts.At one point yesterday I moved up on the list and had been finished playing for a couple hours.Don't understand how I could progress when I wasn't even playing.

my first thought was it calculated the amount of gold you had as well...

so when I bought an upgrade that didn't go towards my highest or my second highest, I dropped a bit

Just wanted to agree with this thread, i somehow went up in the ranks when i didnt do anything, just dont see how that is possible, but there seems to be a pattern. If you upgrade something you jump up quite a lot, then a few mins later go down a bit, then go up very slightly.
