Pirate The World - Online Adventure Game

i got attacked by cabinboy for a good amount but it never got taken out of my account. i was looking at the attack list and my homescreen but it never got taken out. not sure if he got it or not. but i did get attacked seconds later for by neo for about the same.

I got hit by andrewwyl for a ton last night, but my gold never changed.

In fact, I didn't even know that I had been hit until the next morning when I checked my attack logs.

I wonder if he got it.

could this cause the cashout amount to be way higher than it actually is?

This had happened me in the past and I had pm'd shelvock about it. I haven't noticed it since, though, so I was never able to follow up with an exact reporting of the details.

I believe this has happened to me. When I was done playing I looked at my inbound attacks and I see this (bcp19 Success 16953 Lost Sep 04 13:01:59). I dont remember losing any at all when I seen him. At the time I believe that I had 50+ fame and 30k+ in gold.

In all cases it's happened to me this time and in the past I was actively moving quite a bit at the time, so I presume it has to do with the server thinking you are still in that spot when the attacker clicks, though you aren't anymore. The attack is thus considered successful, but by the time the attack is processed, you are no longer in that location. Since you aren't there to take the gold from, you don't get any deductions.....perhaps....

That's possible, but it shouldn't be showing up in the logs.

Hi nsng20 - I'm not sure if that money got into my account as I was away for the weekend any was cleaned out when I got back.
However that hit on you today sure made it into my log - my biggest hit ever - only eclipsed by the 18k I took from huskers 10 seconds later!!!

Boy what a day! Missed most attacks this morning and hit nearly everyone now. Thanks guys!

I am not sure if this is part of the same thing or not, but I had a weird thing happen today. I was attacking the nice little green ships, hoping for a couple to slide beneath the waves and grant me a bonus when a pirate wandered into view, moving. I immediately click on it to be told attack could not take place, click again and after what seemed like forever was told I had won 1531 gold from said pirate. I then searched the island I was at and noticed my gold go from 173k to 171k. I am wondering if the pirate I attacked was one of the ones who did not lose anything when attacked. Hope you guys can figure out what is happening.

nope, bcp, you got me...of course, AFTER i failed you and had 3 fame, lol...it took it from my 22,000+, not sure why your gold dropped, cuz i sure didn't get it...
