this might just be my computer, as it seems something is wrong...

But my radar isn't the same today...

the white x keeps dissappearing and reappearing, along with the ships on my radar

with the live radar on, it seems as though it is constantly attempting to download two images, and that is what is making the radar so screwy...

It was never like this before on my computer at home, but it happened on occassion at school

I took a screen shot if you would like to see it, but I think you would only be able to understand it correctly if you watched it in action...

Also, when I move, it seems like the entire game screen has to reload now, so that takes a little bit more time, and that makes me move ALOT slower

Any ideas on what is causing this?

Mine is acting up for 3-4 days as well. Like it loads your new position, then flashes back to the old one, and then loads the correct one again. Seems to happen more but not exclusivly when there is an active pirate on the screen.

Mine has been doing the same thing for a few weeks (in IE)... I figured it was the screen refreshing along with the lag we have been seeing and didn't say anything... I switched to Firefox and it doesn't seem to do it..

I do have a Mac, and I do work in Firefox (as there is no IE for Macs).

I try to test everything in Windows XP on IE, but sometimes things slip through the cracks, especially when it is something that doesn't happen 100% of the time. IE does not follow the rules of web design, and so things always appear a little quirky on it.

Sorry guys! I will try to get things working better soon!
