im just wondering if anyone is having as many problems as me?

IE my radar blinks all the time and if i attempt to farm i must do it blind because the radar screen stays black for a couple seconds after each move or ship change.

after the loss of my radar i downloaded firefox but it is almost impossible to farm because it is very slow and every 4th page locks up for 3 seconds, hunting is still ok but it has been locking up a lot lately.

i can tell you right now that farming without a radar isnt good at all when i look at my logs!

PS: everything is clean, viruscheck, temp files, the works has been cleaned

Same for me as well. I thought it was my computer, but it does the same thing on the laptop.

yes.. and css.. firefox is slow thats part of the problem lol

also i tried to use opera the other day... and idk if theres a way around it.. but every time i hit *2* it switched between taps on the browswer.. so i couldnt switch to that ship w/o it switching tabs.. so that one wont work for it either :/

I still haven't seen this problem myself so am wondering if it is to do with software on the computer, IP addresses, or something like that which would only affect some people. After trying Firefox once I couldn't stand it so just went with Avant. But Avant is built around the IE OCX and so should act the same way IE does except for added and changed features. I don't think it's a problem with connection speed either because I'm on a shared connection which is mostly at 65 kbs between 2 computers and am running 3 chat programs, an email checker, and streaming music. The only radar bug I've had so far was the bug that shows a ship as still being there when it's gone.

i just wanted to let everyone know that I updated my Internet Explorer to the newest version and it has fixed the blinking radar.

everyone can stop having epileptic seizures now lol.

perhaps something should be added to the welcome email suggesting the newest IE browser should be used to prevent radar problems.
