I visted a silver assayer and was told i would get 0.01 silver for a pearl but i got 0.10.

every silver i have seen is .10... silver's are .10, and gold is .01

ive gotten a .5 silver before... dont know if it was an error or not

thats very possible, its more than .1... i know capt n bcp said that it is possible to find them up to a certain amount.. but im almost ceartain that silver doesnt go below .10

I know it said .01 has i thought it said it last time i sold one, so this time i double checked.

Aswas mentioned above, GOLD pearls are .01, Silver are .10 and .50. There are pearls of higher value, 1.00 and 2.00 have been found so far.
