Attack didn't take place

While playing tonight (Australian time) 9.45pm to 11.00pm when attacking green dots I kept getting attack didn't take place etc even though the players ship was not moving, I had to attack a number of time to actually make the attack. Any one else having this problem?

Yep, there were some glitches in the system last night that have since been fixed (I think).

It was a pain though. :roll:

It happened to me a couple times this morning, around 6:30am EST, and it still happening now, 3:30 pm EST.

Was live radar on at the time that you were trying to attack?

Yes, live radar was on. It's still happening now @9:45 pm EST. Also I think the bug is what caused me to lose to CSStriker, I think I should get the 23K I lost back.

I've got the same bug but they were moving slow so I still got my gold. The ship was moving but the first time I hit it said they had moved but it didn't give the name. Then I think it said they had moved but did give the name. Lastly I hit again and the attack went through. Sounds to me like there's some ghosts in the database so who do you call... :lol:

I keep attacking stationary ships and get the message that the attack didn't take place cos they moved, but I have live radar on and they aren't moving. Has happened several times to me.

I'm still having this problem, sometimes I have to attack several times before it actually attacks cos it's saying the ship is moving when it's not...anyone else still having problems?

I'm looking into the problem and possible ways to fix it without stressing out the server.

Easy answer: Turn off live radar when you don't need it. If you are moving, you can probably do without it--especially for attacking stationary ships.

I have had this radar problem for quite sometime it took me 7 times to hit a person one time mainly, it is 3 or 4 times this makes really quite impossible to hit a moving target unless the target stops ... I know it is not happening to some of the more experienced players because of the amount of gold I have lost to them... I have this radar glitch on live radar or even off live radar I have this problem with firefox and I have this problem with explorer .. sam I am

ok enough is enough when is this attack bug going to be fixed ?

I have missed 3 people moving now because of the dreaded words attack did not take place so and so had already moved
it is hard enough to attack a stationary ship and have that message but moving ships is near on impossible please inform when this bug will finally be fixed
