firstly mister striker I do click and click again and again and again 90 % of the people I click on many times get away
maybe you are one of the few that don't have the problem I dunno all I know is I do have this bug and I have had it for months now all I want to know is when will it be fixed

if a player is moving.. they may have actually moved...

i also have this problem and people have escaped me as the message come up then they move away. the best way to combat this is to keep clicking on that dot, although it doesnt always work.
This bug is most annoying when you are attacking while on the move.

I take it by your reply huskers you don't have the problem .. if not then keep your uniformed posts in the forum to yourself thanks

lmfao.. ive had the problem multiple times.. i know what its like.. it sucks.. yes.. it happens to everyone..

and still my question has not been answered ... when will this problem be fixed ?? thats all I asked and it requires an answer from an admin not from players who may or may not have the problem but thanks for your imput guys

When will someone describe the problem in a way that I can reproduce it..or at least in enough detail that I might be able to figure out what's going on?

I need a pattern.

This happened to me just now, and has happened a few other times over the past few weeks or so.
I clicked on a green ship (live radar was on but I've had occur when it was off too). The normal message came up of when someone was moving "attack couldn't take place" etc, so then I clicked on them again, and it said "sorry you have attacked ____ already today" - but I haven't played in a while, maybe a week or so. I've had this happen a few times with the "sorry ..." message too, when it would be impossible as I don't play very often. I generally click on them a few times just to check too.

Same exact symptom as above.
Attackee was Loca83, Took place at 28s-68w. Was 9 seconds following another successful attack (with no gold).

Whats interesting:

loca83 Success 0 Gained Sep 04 14:34:49
adi_cool_bluffer Success 0 Gained Sep 04 14:34:40

It looks like the attack actually took place and the message that I got that _____ had already moved was simply a cosmetic error/issue. (Note it really says "____" not loca83 or whatever the intended attackee is)

That would then make sense why it would give the You've already attacked message, since well, you actually did, you just didn't know it. It would be interesting to see if everyone checked their logs when this happens to see if there is ever an instance where they actually got gold.

Just for keeping the details straight, when it happened to me, was running XPSP2, IE6 SP2.

This problem happens to me everyday. I just thought it was part of the game.

it is when it says something like "(pirates name) has moved before you could attack"

but when there is no pirates name and it is blank, then it just doesnt work right

If anyone has the "(blank) moved before you could attack" bug happen to them, please please please take down any information that you can and PM it to me. Things like:

The Time (in PTW time preferrably)
Your coordinates
Who you were trying to attack (if you know)

I need this information to try and fix the problems.
