As well as having the bug where it says "had already moved..." without giving a name, I also now have a new bug which means about 1/3 of my other moves don't work. For example I press the arrow keys to move and though it takes a move from me my ship doesn't move. Or I click an island an nothing happens. Though it doesn't happen every time it does still make it harder to play.

Had that same thing happening last night and yesterday. And now it is doing it again today as well. Think i have lost over a 100 moves because of it so far.

Had the same thing... Also had to hit the arrow keys or use the mouse for direction several times before it would move. One time, I saw a picture of an island but when I searched it, the message was blank and my fame went up by one so it may have been a town... While I tried to move, Taz showed up and hit my ship... We talked about it in chat nd he said I was moving yet on my screen, I appeared to be sitting still...

I turned off the live RADAR and the problem seemed to go away... I ran like that for awhile and turned the RADAR on... After a moving around with the RADAR on, the problem reappeared but not right away... Turned it off again and it went away... Could be coincidence?

Not complaining as I was able to make a few good hits, got hit a few times, and missed a few as well but all in all, made enough for an upgrade

nimitzs and darkmyst9 -- did you have Live Radar on as well?

Yip I almost always have the radar live. I know you said in another thread that turning off the live radar should help fix he attacking bug also, but when moving around trying to get moving ships or waiting for them to go by it really helps to see what's happening at the time. Should I try playing with it off to see if I still get the moves bug??.

I'm having the same problem. Unlike everyone else, I don't use live radar, but I do use the live attack log.

ive had the same prob...but then again could just be my ol comp..

What's the status on this bug? It's really difficult for me to play right now. Yesterday, I searched an island 5 times before it finally went through. I'd like to see this bug fixed asap. Any news on the status of it would be nice too.

The status of this bug is that I can't get it to happen for me--regardless of whether live radar/attack log is on or off or what operating system I'm using.

not to doubt you or anything, but with the fequency it happens to me and others i find it hard to belive that you cant find it.

this bug happens everytime you have sat in one spot for a bit, plus it happens while on the move.


another little annoying bug is changeing ships. hitting the page to change ship instead of useing the hot keys most times it does not change even after you have hit the change button. the ship reverts right back to the one you where in.

ok i think i may have found what could be doing it, the banner updates on every move and sometimes it just loads the banner instead of the move, ship change or attack.

no offense to those of you that are using it, but is it possible it could be an update or a version of some browser you are using causing this to happen? i have tried the 3 main-based browsers (ie, ff, opera) multiple times with live everything on, just radar on, just logs on, and everything off and havent had this happen at all either.. so its not impossible that capt isnt having this bug.. also, he runs on a mac so it could have something to do with that also?

The main things that I try are:

Mac OS X 10.4 - Firefox 2, Camino 1, Safari 2 (IE on Mac is a joke now)
Windows XP - Internet Explorer 6.5, Firefox 2

I can dual-boot Mac OS & Windows, so I'm not limited to only Mac. I don't have any strange plugins or enhancements on my browsers that would be affecting testing.

Rumor has it that YOU are the "strange plug-in" Cap!!!

I will upgrade my FF and see if that helps...
